'See More – Cumbria and the Lake District' was a project funded by the Department for Transport's Local Sustainable Transport Fund for 2015-16.
This package of projects aimed to transform the travel part of the visitor experience to the main visitor destinations of the National Park and Hadrian's Wall.

This was a joint project developed by Cumbria County Council and the Lake District National Park Authority and delivered in partnership with Cumbria Tourism.
We have been working in partnership with Cumbria County Council and stakeholders to develop a corridor travel plan for West Cumbria. The full document can be downloaded here.
In September 2016 Cumbria County Council and the Lake District National Park Authority made a joint bid to the Department for Transport's Access fund. The bid is entitled 'Go Cumbria' and aims to increase the numbers of residents and visitors walking, cycling for health, recreation and access to work. Unfortunately, our bid was not successful on this occasion.
Bid documents are available on Cumbria County Council's Go Lakes Travel Programme (opens in new window).
