Lake District Communities Fund

Funding for resident communities

This fund has been created for projects which are led by, or of benefit to, the resident communities of the Lake District National Park.

Sorry but given the uncertainty caused by Covid19 we have paused processing any new grant applications. We hope the fund will open again once the situation improves. It is likely we will focus use of the grant on delivery of priority outcomes of the Park vision in light of Covid19 impacts.

How much is available?

There is a total of £10,000 available this financial year, to help projects that will contribute to the sustainability or wellbeing of resident communities. Grants of up to £2,000 for each of the five Distinctive Areas within the National Park will be awarded on a competitive basis, so please talk to us as early as possible.

What are the grants for?

For more details on the fund, its purposes and eligibility please read the Lake District Communities Fund Guidance Notes
