Please be warned, our car park is also home to a group of friendly rabbits. Please proceed with great care.
We encourage people to travel sustainably. Our nearest railway station is Oxenholme which is only a 15 minute walk away or only 3 minutes by taxi.

A duty planner is available to talk to. Please phone 01539 724555 between 0930 and 1230, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
In person visits to our duty planners in Kendal, and planning surgeries in Gosforth and Keswick are suspended.
We can provide copies of documents from microfiche for planning applications from 1949 to 2011. From 2011 to present date the documents are available on our website.
The copy documents can be provided by email or paper.
If you do not know the application reference, you can request us to carry out a planning history search. We will require a location plan with the area to be searched on clearly marked in red. Or you can use our online search facility.
Planning application documents: £5 each (per document) or £25 (per hour, or part thereof) for all the microfiche.
