Summer Opening times (April-October) are 9.30 am. to 5.30 pm.
Winter opening times (November-March) are 10 am to 4.30 pm.
Bowness Bay Information Centre is just opposite the Windermere Lake Cruises Pier and Bowness Pier bus stop. Bus 599 runs up to every 20 minutes between Windermere station and Bowness Bay during the summer months. More details in travel and transport.
Perfectly situated on the Glebe, Bowness Bay Information Centre is open all year round, providing information to over 250,000 visitors a year.
