  3. Apologies - To receive and record apologies from members of the Authority who cannot attend.
  4. Minutes - To confirm the Minutes of the meeting held on 26 March 2025.
  5. Chair's Announcements
    The Chair to announce to all attendees -
    • the fire safety instructions; and
    • the meeting is being livestreamed and a digital recording of the meeting is made.
  6. Declarations of Interest - Members should declare any registrable interests or disclosable pecuniary interests and state the nature of those interests so it can be recorded in the minutes.  These interests are described in the Code of Conduct adopted by the Authority on 20 October 2021.
  7. Questions - To answer any questions raised under Standing Order 16(2) relating to the business of the Authority.
  8. Public Participation - There are no public questions, petitions or deputations relating to the business of the Authority for this meeting.
  9. Appointment of Members -

    10. a) Local Authority Appointees - To report the appointment of Mr Christopher Southward as Cumberland Council representative and the appointment of Ms Jenny Boak as Westmorland and Furness Council representative.

    b) Secretary of State Appointees -

    To provide an update on the appointment of the one Parish Council representative to the vacant position.

    To provide an update on the appointment of the two new Secretary of State (National) members.

  11. National Parks England - Minutes are enclosed of the meeting held on 29 January 2025.
  12. Lake District National Park Partnership - Minutes are enclosed of the meeting held on 1 April 2025.
  13. Minutes of Committees
    To consider the minutes of the following committee and the recommendations which they contain:
    1. Resources Committee: Mr Jackson will present the minutes of the meeting held 7 March 2025;
    2. Park Strategy and Vision Committee: Mr Carter will present the minutes of the meeting held on 4 February and 23 April 2024;
    3. Governance Committee: Ms Drake will present the minutes of the meeting held on 21 February 2025;
    4. Development Control Committee: Mr Kidd will present the minutes of the meetings held on 5 March, 2 April and 7 May 2025; and
    5. Rights of Way Committee: Ms Mosner will present the minutes of the meeting held on 9 December 2024.
  14. Member Representation on Outside Bodies and Partnerships
    To receive verbal updates from Members on meetings attended as the Authority’s representative.
