The winter skills day course, based in the Lake District National Park, are taster day for anyone who wants to learn the basics of how to use an ice axe and crampons for winter walking. A Lake District Fell Top Assessor will guide you through the basic techniques required for safe winter walking in the fells. Courses run from December through to April.
