Stay home. Stay safe.

Guidance is to exercise locally.

Getting outside for exercise is of course important, but please don't take any unnecessary risks, especially in the cold and icy weather.

By staying safe and staying local you can help reduce the pressure on our emergency services.

Help keep our emergency staff and hospital beds free for those that need them most.

The section from High Parkamoor to High Nibthwaite (grid references SD 309926 to SD 294897) is a public road and has presumed rights for mechanically propelled vehicles.  You can only access this route from High Nibthwaite to Parkamoor and then have to turn round and drive back the way you came.  There is no MPV access beyond the junction with bridleway at Parkamoor.

We work with Cumbria County Council to decide when the discretionary Traffic Regulation Order is activated.
