It is important that we follow government advice and stay at home. The Lake District National Park Authority car parks are now closed. They will remain only for use by our local communities, in populated areas for essential functions – such as attending GP appointments or for essential shopping.
There are full or half day minibus tours visiting key beauty spots and attractions within the Lake District. You can leave the car behind and enjoy the views from an elevated position.

Why not make the most of the bus service and enjoy your holiday without the hassle of travelling in your car? You can do this quite cost effectively by purchasing an explorer ticket. These allow you to travel throughout Cumbria on most services, stopping off to visit villages, attractions or enjoy walks. You can also travel to some destinations outside Cumbria.
