You can pay by credit card as well as in cash.

This is the nearest car park to Pooley Bridge village and its various facilities, including public toilets. Driving south through Pooley Bridge the car park is on the left just after passing the village square. Motor boat hire is also close by.

Please be aware the road bridge across the River Eamont at Pooley Bridge is closed for vehicles whilst the Bridge is being replaced.

There is a footbridge over the river to cross to the Ullswater Steamer Pier and for access  local Rights of Way.

Walking routes from here include Barton Fell and the routes to High Street.

This is a large car park situated in the centre of Glenridding village. There are shops, cafes and pubs close by. A short walk away is the Ullswater steamers southern terminal and there is boat hire in the area.

This location is an ideal starting point for walkers intending to walk on Helvellyn, or to walk along the lake shore to Howtown and return by steamer.
