Coniston Boating Centre is on the western shore of Coniston Water and is easily reached from the village centre. Follow the brown signs for 'Gondola' and Boat hire.
You can hire motor boats, rowing boats, open Canadian canoes, sit on top kayaks, paddle boards and sailing dinghies - as well as a range of bikes for all the family. The Bluebird Café, situated on the Coniston lakeshore has an extensive daytime menu as well as specials. There are lakeside walks and picnic tables.
Coniston launch and the steam yacht 'Gondola' operate from here.
Payable every day 9am to 6pm including Sundays and Bank Holidays.
