Brockhole on Windermere is on the eastern shore of Windermere, just off the A591 between Windermere village and Ambleside.
Ladies, gents and disabled toilets. Baby changing facilities. Disabled parking available near the house, shop and café. Exhibitions, gardens, adventure playground, activities and boat hire, lakeshore access, picnic areas. Jetty with boat trips to Ambleside, Wray Castle and Bowness available in summer.
Unfortunately no coaches are accepted between 23 July and 4 September and 14 - 31 October. Please do not attempt to drive onto the site with a coach during these dates as there will be nowhere to either park or turn.
Payable from 9 am to 6 pm including Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Charges apply to all vehicles, including trailers and vehicles displaying a blue badge.
We get busy during the school holidays and our car park fills up very early, at which point we ask drivers to park elsewhere in the area. We encourage anyone who can to travel by alternative means including boat, bus or cycle.
All car park charges go towards keeping the National Park special for the future.
