Arndale, Keswick

This wonderful barn conversion looks out on some of the best scenery in the Lake District. Set on a working beef and sheep farm, the property boasts stunning fell views from its rooms.

If you want a chance of spotting Santa and his reindeers flying over the mountains on their way to drop off Christmas gifts, then you couldn’t be better placed than at Artist’s Barn! This attractive and unique hideaway cottage has incredible fell views and whitewashed stonewalls, and is decorated with the owner’s own artwork.

For a peaceful festive break away from it all, you’ll have difficulty finding somewhere better than Mungrisdale. The area offers a wealth of walking for all abilities and the nearby Mill Inn is set on the pretty river. If you want to head into town for shops and more restaurants, Keswick is just a few miles away.
