Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat has picked up another accreditation having been assessed as being up to a 5 Pennant Gold Standard by The AA.
The Award Winning holiday park has developed an enviable reputation since opening its doors for the first time back in January 2016; generating a significant number of positive customer reviews online and having been named the best large holiday park in the whole of the UK for two consecutive years at the prestigious annual Hoseasons Awards.
The AA has introduced the pennant rating system as a means of providing an independent and unbiased assessment as to the quality of holiday parks for the benefit of holiday makers considering staying at the locations. This assessment takes into account not only the quality of the accommodation on offer, but also the on-site facilities, levels of customer care offered and the overall general amenities provided to guests.
According to The AA, 5 Pennant accreditation are reserved only for holiday parks which are deemed as being up to “an extremely high standard” where “facilities, security and customer care are exceptional”.
Keswick Reach easily met these standards, with the assessor stating that it is a “place I would be happy to bring my family.”
Three randomly picked holiday lodges were chosen for inspection, with the assessor being impressed by the standards which were provided to guests. All lodges in Keswick Reach are fully equipped for self-catering, with modern kitchen facilities provided for the benefit of guests. Top of the range premier lodges are also equipped with private hot tub amenities as well as warming log fires aimed at providing the ultimate romantic setting surrounding by beautiful Cumbrian countryside.
The resort has also won admirers on account of its pet oriented facilities which includes an outdoor dog washing facility to help keep those prize lodges looking spic and span after a scenic walking exploring one of the many breath-taking walking routes in the area. Pets are also welcomed in certain sections of the on-site bar which serves award winning local beverages for guests to sample whilst in the area.
It isn’t just the pets which are well looked after on-site though, with the assessor also singling out the spa and gym in particular for praise on account of the standard of the facilities and the standout panoramic views which are offered of the surrounding countryside thanks to the unique panoramic design.
Keswick Reach is just one of 22 resorts which are part of the Darwin Escapes portfolio across the UK which also includes exclusive holiday home ownership destinations and golf resorts. A recent addition to this portfolio has been the world famous Dundonald Links Golf Course in Scotland which has previously hosted the Scottish Open Championship.
19 of these destinations offer holiday accommodation, with Keswick Reach being one of two Darwin Escapes holiday resorts in the Lake District. This also includes Thanet Well Lodge Retreat in Penrith where facilities are purposefully more limited so as to provide a more tranquil offering in a secluded part of the Cumbria countryside.
