Five years ago, we decided we wanted a property in Windermere, so we could enjoy the Lake District all year round. We fell in love with Bluebells Cottage straight away as the Victorian, Lakeland stone property was full of character, spacious, comfortable and in a great location with unrestricted parking,” explain Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster.
“We bought Bluebells Cottage and invite guests to share our home and enjoy the Lake District as much as we do,” they continue. “The self-catering cottage has provided a home for many families. A guest gave us a lovely story that she had lived there as a student in the 1990's and had met her husband who had gate-crashed the party in the kitchen, while another guest let us know that they had completed their first novel whilst staying at Bluebells Cottage.”
