Heritage assessments and information requirements
Following feedback on the first draft we published in the summer we have updated our practice guidance on heritage assessments and information requirements on our planning guides webpage. This document will replace the two current guides on design and access and heritage from 2 January 2018. This means that validation requirements will change and it is worth checking the guide to make sure you are up to date.
Most of the team are back in the office and we are making good progress with validation checks to clear the surge of new applications received towards the end of last year enabling planners to commence their work assessing the proposals. Happy New Year from the Lakes planners.
We have been advised that the national fees for planning applications will change on 17 January. Check the national Planning Portal for information and we will update our guide to fees when they come in.
From 1 August 2018 we will be imposing changes we are making to our service. These changes can be viewed on our planning guides webpage.
