Lake District National Park Partnership vision

Partnership Management Plan 2020-25

Our joint Management Plan for the Lake District - reflecting our position as a National Park and a World Heritage Site - prepared by the 22 organisations in the Lake District National Park Partnership, adopted by the Lake District National Park Authority, 20 October 2021.

Partnership Management Plan

These views will be used to further refine and strengthen the draft Plan. The final plan will hopefully be adopted by the LDPNA in autumn 2021.

The 25 strong partnership will then commit to seeing the Plan being actioned to the end of 2025. Unfortunately, we will not be able to individually respond to the detail of every response, however if you give consent we will keep you up to date with timescales and changes made.

Some assessments of the Plan have been prepared to support the consultation to consider potential impacts of the Plan on sustainability criteria, equality impacts as well as sites legally protected as important on a European Scale. Some of these are statutory requirements while others are simply good practice. We also welcome comments on these supporting assessments.

Key dates:

Consultation opened: 25 May 2021
