Find out a little bit about Will:

Whose your favourite artist?

Ed Sheeran - not only a talented fellow ginger but amazing live having seen him in both London and Leeds.

What’s your favourite Lake District view?

You can't beat the Langdale Pikes, recognisable and impressively visible from so many different places.  Whether this is when coming into the Lakes from the M6, overlooking Windermere from the A591 or my favourite as a backdrop to Loughrigg Tarn.

What’s your favourite mountain?

Latrigg - one of the most accessible, even with a disability there are so many areas of the Lakes that you can still enjoy and explore (check out Miles Without Stiles).

Pre-injury I would have said Lingmoor with its panoramic views including Coniston Old Man and The Langdales and ultimately Scafell.

If you were an animal what would you be?

An owl - observant, protective, wise, hard working with a never give up attitude.  I'm most productive at night rather than first thing in the morning too!

What’s your favourite sport?

Anything in the outdoors - I sail on Windermere at least once a week through the summer and have an off-road wheelchair (Boma 7).  At 6 months of age I was in a canoe on Grasmere Lake and in my early 20s, I worked as a ski-guide in the Alps.
