One of my first records was Play Bach by Jacques Loussier, a great combination of jazz and classical music.
What’s your favourite Lake District view?
Looking across to the Coniston Fells from Low Frith.
What’s your favourite walk in the Lakes?
One of them is to walk along the river in Eskdale in the early Spring.
What's your favourite season in the Lakes?
Spring.
If you were an animal, what would you be?
An otter, I have been fascinated by them ever since reading Gavin Maxwell's Ring of Bright Water.
Any other interests/ committees?
I undertake various non executive, trustee an voluntary roles with organisations involved with caring for the natural and historic environment. I am a book lover, a keen walker, enjoy watching bird and wildlife and singing in choirs.
What's your favourite sport?
Tennis, though injury has stopped me playing so I am trying to become a golfer!
