Find out a little bit about Judith:

What was your first car?

Morris Minor Traveller, with the woodwork on the side, multicoloured. Sadly it died on the journey back from Langdale late one night.

What was your first music record?

I went against my elder sister’s advice and bought Jimmy Osmond's Long Haired Lover From Liverpool.

What’s your favourite Lake District view?

Coming back from Kendal heading up towards Ullswater I quite often stop off as you’re coming over from Ings on the back road over to Troutbeck. There’s a seat with a fantastic view up to Langdale.

What’s your favourite walk in the Lakes?

Difficult one. I’ve got so many I really enjoy and loads I think I should do more often. I like the Gowbarrow area, walking up from Aira Force with the views of Ullswater.

If you were an animal what would you be?

A red squirrel, I just like red squirrels.

Any other interests/ committees?

I’m an Eden District councillor, I’m the portfolio holder for house and health. I’m also on the Cumbria village watch board and the Stainton village hall committee.
