We’re looking for an administrator to join the Strategy and Partnership Service who is a team player with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem solving and decision making. A key role will be helping facilitate the delivery of range of programmes and projects for access and recreation, the natural environment and also historic environment to develop our ideas in to work on the ground that benefits the National Park. Projects currently include Driverless Pods, post-Brexit farming tests and trials, Rusland Moss NNR Management Plan and Conservation Area Appraisals.
Along with also supporting the team in the next step of the Local Plan, for its Submission and Examination, this is a great opportunity to get involved with the future of this special place, as we embark on the Partnership Management Plan Review.
The role requires balancing a varying workload and competing demands across a variety of themes whilst we also deliver our day to day work such as facilitating the Partnership Climate Change sub-group; reporting on the Lake District Carbon Budget and Annual Monitoring Review; supporting the Local Access Forum and maintaining the Lake District Archaeology Network. In particular the role requires an eye for detail whilst being confident developing agendas, arranging meetings, taking minutes, organising and distributing information, organising events and visits.
