We're looking for someone to join our team at Keswick Visitor Information Centre over the busy Summer months. You will share your love of the Lake District with thousands of visitors and use your local knowledge to make their visit even more memorable.
This position is based at the busy Moot Hall in Keswick, home of our Information Centre.
You will be:
- Working as part of a small team to deliver a friendly and enthusiastic information service alongside a great local retail offer
- Operating a till and responsible for handling cash and other general retail tasks such as receiving deliveries and restocking
- A keyholder and have responsibility for opening and closing the centre
Previous retail and/or hospitality experience is preferable but not essential, as is good local knowledge of Keswick and the surrounding area.
The most important thing is that you love the Lake District and want to inspire others to do the same.
