Salary: £11.78 per hour (including holiday pay)

Pay: £11.78 p/h (including holiday pay)

We're now hiring casual Catering Assistants for the 2023 visitor season so if you're looking for a summer job filled with variety or the opportunity to develop and gain experience for your career, get in touch.  You’ll work flexibly, providing additional cover such as during holidays or busy periods. Working days include weekends and weekdays, from approximately 9am to 6pm.

What will I be doing?

    Café Assistants:

  • Making a variety of hot drinks
  • Excellent customer service
  • Scooping ice creams
  • Table service
  • Packaging/labelling sandwiches
  • Maintaining stock within café outlets
  • Restaurant Assistants:

  • Serving afternoon teas and lunches
  • Excellent customer service
  • Potential evening event work
  • Learning about the produce from the kitchen team
  • Serving alcoholic beverages

About you

Brockhole on Windermere can be a busy place to work, therefore, you’ll have a flexible approach to work and can-do attitude. You’ll have excellent time management and attention to detail. You’ll also enjoy working as part of a team and be willing to deliver great customer service to our visitors.

Brockhole on Windermere is located between Windermere and Ambleside on the shores of Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District National Park.  We are a not-for-profit attraction run by the Lake District National Park Authority. All profits go towards keeping it special for future generations.
