Brockhole on Windermere, the Lake District Visitor Centre, are seeking enthusiastic, energetic and friendly people (16yrs +) to join our fantastic team as Café Assistants.
Great rates of pay and a beautiful, fun place to work.
You don’t need to have previous experience, as we will provide full training, but you do need to want to learn, be able to work hard and serve customers with a smile. You will be doing everything from coffee making, to drinks running, to waiting or clearing tables.
This is a great way to get some experience of the hospitality trade or just to earn some extra money at the weekend in a fun and friendly environment. Members of staff also get discount on all of Brockhole activities.
You can work a minimum of 1 full day, or both Saturday and Sunday, and there is always lots of work available in the school holidays if you want to earn more.
We have an existing busy main family, fully seated café, and two great seasonal take away cabins in the grounds. In 2018 we opened The Gaddum - a fully refurbished Arts & Crafts restaurant, which offers high quality afternoon teas and lunches.
We have enjoyed very positive reviews about all of cafés and restaurant, and are in the middle of a record breaking year.
If you would like to join our team, and have the right attitude, matched with a friendly, outgoing and helpful personality then we would love to hear from you.
To begin your application, and for an informal discussion about the role, please contact Sam Mason, our General Manager, on telephone number
This is an open, rolling recruitment and the opportunity will close when suitable candidates are appointed – please apply as soon as possible as an early start is desirable.
We are fully committed to equality, diversity and inclusion. As part of our commitment to employing disabled people, all disabled candidates who meet the minimum requirement for all competencies on the person specification, will be guaranteed an interview.
