Hill fog at first.
A warm humid South to Southeast airflow covers England with mostly settled fine weather through Thursday.
Weather:
There will be patchy cloud across the sky but all areas will enjoy a bright day with sunny spells, and many areas will see some decent spells of very warm sunshine. Some morning haze and isolated hill fog patches are likely, this tending to disperse.
Visibility:
Generally good, but perhaps moderate for a time in the morning in haze. In any early hill fog visibility will be 200 metres.
Cloud Base:
Mostly well broken at 1000 lifting to 1500 metres, occasionally just odd patches. During the morning especially over South and East facing slopes, odd banks base 400 to 700 metres, theses lifting and dispersing by late morning.
Wind and Temperature at 900m:
Southeast 20 to 25mph, tending more Easterly in direction later.. 15 Celsius.
Freezing Level:
Well above summits.
Weather:
Warm weather will prevail but cloud will be thicker with less sunshine. Patchy hill fog and valley mist to start Friday, this will steadily lift and disperse however showers are expected during the day, especially the afternoon and evening, and isolated heavy thundery showers are possible. Some haze may linger.
Visibility / Cloud Base:
Moderate or good. 200 metres in hill fog. Cloud broken or well broken at 900 to 1500 metres, tending to become broken cover around 800 metres in showers, and in the morning occasional banks base 300 metres possible, mainly on east facing slopes till late morning.
Wind / Temperature / Freezing Level:
East or Southeast 20 to 30mph, perhaps increasing 35 mph on exposed ridges and summits. 15 Celsius. Freezing level well above summits.
Starting rather cloudy with showery spells of rain, perhaps heavy, and hill fog across much of the region. It will also be rather misty. During the day drier brighter weather will spread from the south with a mix of sunny intervals and scattered showers, and the haze should thin. South becoming Southwest winds, 15 to 20mph.
Some morning valley mist and haze slowly lifting, with hill fog tending to disperse by late morning. Otherwise a bright day with patchy cloud cover and some sunny intervals. A few showers will develop later. Southeasterly winds, mostly 10 to 15mph.
Starting rather misty with patchy hill fog then this will lift to leave bright conditions with scattered showers and brief sunny intervals. There may be some thicker cloud and longer spells of rain later. 15 to 20mph South or Southeast winds.
