What's on offer?

Free entry

Entry to the house, grounds and lakeshore is free.

Adventure playground

Intrepid toddlers and older children can captain our miniature lake steamer, fly high on swings or have fun with the wacky noise tunnel.

There's a special separate area for under sevens and picnic tables nearby.

New for 2011! Soft play area

Next to the exhibitions in the main house, there's a new soft play area. Little ones will love playing with the Lake District themed ducks, fish and can even make a wall! There's tables and chairs for colouring-in fun too.

Little Legs Trail

For just 50p you can pick up a Little Legs Trail leaflet from the shop. The trail hunts for wooden clues in the Brockhole gardens, woodlands and lakeshore finishing at the adventure playground. The leaflet also gives children a chance to enjoy some colouring in.
