Spring walks in the Lake District

March and April are perfect months for discovering and exploring the Lake District. Spring flowers, sparkling tarns and magical scenery make this a must-do destination for the discerning visitor.

Experience Lakeland's splendour and see why we are bidding for World Heritage status for our stunning cultural landscape. Whether you’re after a gentle ramble, an airy high fell hike or a gentle bike ride on quiet country lanes, our volunteer leaders are waiting to share their passion for the Lakes. And to show you the unique special qualities that make this a world class bucket list travel stop.

Here's just a small selection of what's on offer, whether you're a family group or a single traveller. We've activities for all ages and abilities too.
