There are endless combinations of walks around Keswick, Derwentwater and Borrowdale.

A short but revealing walk.

A pleasant walk through town and country.

Walla Crag and Ashness Bridge Walk (PDF)

6 km or 3.7 miles, 3 - 4 hours, Moderate grade
A long but gradual ascent to an outstanding viewpoint over Derwentwater.

Latrigg Walk (PDF)

10 km or 6.2 miles, 3 - 4 hours, Moderate grade
A long and gradual climb to a fine viewpoint of Keswick.

Derwent Walk (PDF)

13 km or 8.1 miles, 5 - 6 hours, Easy grade
Long but leisurely stroll around the shores of Derwentwater.

Catbells and Newland Walk (PDF)

13 km or 8.1 miles, 5 - 7 hours plus waiting time for launch, Strenuous grade
A challenging walk on popular fells.

Walking and cycling Keswick Railway Path (PDF)

Up to 10 km or 6.2 miles but can doubleback at any point.
Superb views of the surrounding fells and woods.
