A manual wheelchair can be hired from Bowness Bay Information Centre.

Brockhole - The Lake District Visitor Centre (opens in new window) provides:

  • free use of electric wheelchairs for use in the gardens
  • Free use of wheelchairs to use indoors
  • The 'Brockmobile' electric people carriers to transport people from the jetty and car park to the Visitor Centre

How to book

There's no booking charge but we do ask for proof of identification for security reasons - either a credit card, driver's licence or copy of a household bill.
