This car park lies close to the heart of this popular village. There are shops, hotels and cafes within easy walking distance. Beatrix Potter lived near here and the Gallery dedicated to her work is close by.

You can go on many walks from here, including Tarn Hows, Latterbarrow and Claife heights. Grizedale Forest is also nearby.
