Broadgate Meadow car park is on the northern edge of Grasmere village. It's next to a children's playground and gives easy access to the village shops, cafes and toilets (which are 200 yds away). There are seats on the edge of the car park overlooking the River Rothay.
Walks are available from here to Helm Cragg; Easdale Tarn; Alcock Tarn and Fairfield.

Stock Lane car park is near the entrance to the village. It's convenient for Dove Cottage and St Oswald's church where Wordsworth is buried. There is an abundance of shops, cafes and hotels within the village.
There are lots of walk you can start from here, including Silver Howe; Rydal Fell and Loughrigg. It is also possible to do a circle of Grasmere from this location.
