We have confirmed the above order to divert the public footpath from going through the property at Tweenbridges from SD 4456 9864 to a new route following the bank of the River Gowan to the A591 at SD 4453 9868, as shown on the order plan.

Diversion and creation of footpaths at Havelock Cottage, Dunnerdale-with-Seathwaite Parish Public Path Diversion and Creation Order 2012

Date of change: 17 April 2012

On 17 April 2012 the Lake District National Park Authority confirmed the diversion order to divert the footpath from the public road (SD 2253 9601) over the stepping stones (SD 2252 9604) to a new route from SD 2260 9600 over the bridge (SD 2258 9605) to the same point, as shown on the order plan.

Please note: We have received a technical objection to the associated creation order (D-E) – which will be sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation.

Footpath 512014, Little Arrow, Coniston Parish - Definitive Map Modification Order 2012

We have confirmed the above unopposed order adding a footpath from the current recorded end of the path at SD 2891 9500 eastwards through Little Arrow to the A593 at SD 2904 9499, as shown on the order plan.

Right of Way 512064 / 576018 / 521058, Walna Scar Road, Parishes of Coniston, Torver and Dunnerdale-with-Seathwaite - Definitive Map Modification Order 2011

Date of change: 25 January 2011

Explanation: The Secretary of State has confirmed a Modification Order amending Walna Scar Road from a bridleway to a restricted byway. Restricted Byways are routes for all traffic, excepting mechanically propelled vehicles (MPVs). Use of this route by MPVs without lawful authority is an offence under the Road Traffic Acts, and may be reported to the Police.

Right of Way 581001/537024, Garburn Pass, Kentmere and Windermere Parishes - Definitive Map Modification Order 2007

Explanation: We have confirmed a Modification Order to add a Restricted Byway to the definitive map running between High Ground and Dalegarth, Eskdale.

Footpath 514026 at Town End, Crosthwaite and Lyth Parish Public Path Diversion Order 2010

Date of change: 10 October 2011

Explanation: The Secretary of State confirmed the above order (with minor modifications to the wording) diverting the footpath at Town End (SD 43 89) from the farmyard area to a line along the watercourse to the north, and from a wet field to a drier route, as shown on the order plan.
