Why not head to Brockhole - The Lake District Visitor Centre (opens in new window)? It has an undercover traversing wall covered with fascinating facts about the Lake District’s mountains and lakes. The wall is free and at 2 metres high is suitable for all ages. It's behind the Visitor Centre shop in the rear courtyard.
There's also an shorter wall inside the soft play area.
