16 June 2018

Join us for a leisurely stroll to a working sheep and beef farm at Rydal in the heart of the Lake District National Park.

Meet farmer Hogg and Bob the dog and learn about farm life both past and present. Hogg will be demonstrating his sheep ‘clipping’ skills and you can watch Bob rounding up the flock.

Find out how fell farmers like Hogg and his family are adapting to the future and the importance of balancing livestock and land management with conservation in order to ensure sustainability.

Refreshments will be available to purchase at the end of the walk.
