LDF Previous stages

We have consulted many local people and organisations about all the LDF Issues and Options (PDF) that affect the National Park such as housing, businesses and traffic. We have also gathered extensive research and evidence.

Pre-submission consultation

The Lake District National Park Authority Core Strategy for pre-submission (PDF), ‘Sustaining the Lake District’ was prepared, prior to its submission to the Secretary of State for independent examination in 2010. Comments were invited over a six week period from 21 September - 30 October 2009

The Representations Statement summarises the main issues raised. All representations have been sent to the Secretary of State for consideration during the examination process.
