Local Development Framework

Preferred sites for allocation for affordable housing, employment, waste management, and important open spaces

The full report - preferred option

Extensive public consultation took place betwee 26 September and 30 November 2011 on the preferred option for allowing sites. The preferred options are outlined in the following reports and sections.

No decisions have been taken over which sites will ultimately be put forward for alloation. We anticipate this will take place in autumn 2012.

How have sites been selected? Why is allocating land important? Why do we want to allocate land in some places but not others? What does it mean if a site is or isn’t allocated?

The Allocations of Land DPD Technical Paper (Word document) identifies which villages we will seek to allocate sites for affordable housing and why.
