Lawful Development Certificate - Proposed Use

Lawful Development Certificate - Proposed Use Checklist and Form

A Certificate of Lawful Development application seeks formal confirmation that a use or development is immune from enforcement action because it is lawful – for example planning permission was not required, or it has become lawful by the passage of time.

Please download the Lawful Development for Proposed Use Form (PDF) (opens in new window)

Please make sure your application includes the right information, or it will be judged as invalid.
