Local Development Framework

Local Development Framework
This is a new, more dynamic way of involving people in planning. The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 introduced Local Development Frameworks across the country through changes in the planning system. With your input, the Local Development Framework will be a folder of documents to guide development in the National Park. It will replace the Local Plan.
What's new?
On Thursday 14 January 2010 the Lake District National Park Core Strategy was submitted to the Secretary of State, for public examination.
