Dunmallard is situated on the banks of the River Eamont, which flows out of Ullswater. The car park is within a short walk of the village of Pooley Bridge where toilet facilities can be found along with shops, cafes and pubs. The car park is on the left, just before the bridge at the southern end of the village.
This is the nearest car park to the Steamer pier for Ullswater cruises which is a short walk away.
Other walking routes from this car park include a riverside walk to Dalemain and access to the northern fells.

This is the nearest car park to Pooley Bridge village and its various facilities, including public toilets. Coming from the lake, the car park is on the right after crossing the river bridge. Motor boat hire is also close by.
Walking routes from here include Barton Fell and the routes to High Street.

This is a large car park situated in the centre of Glenridding village. There are shops, cafes and pubs close by. A short walk away is the Ullswater steamers southern terminal and there is boat hire in the area.
This location is an ideal starting point for walkers intending to walk on Helvellyn, or to walk along the lake shore to Howtown and return by steamer.
Facilities:
Ladies, Gents and Disabled toilets. Baby-changing facilities. Next to the Ullswater Information Centre. Picnic area.
