Supplementary Planning Document: Housing Provision
This document is an important element of our Local Development Framework. It explains to potential applicants and other interested parties our expectations and requirements for all housing development in the National Park.
Public Consultation on the draft document took place between 4 May - 15 June 2010. Thank you to all those who responded. You can read the comments in the Consultation Schedule of Responses (opens Document Library).
The draft SPD Housing Provision consultation draft (opens Document Library) is available to view, and will be updated soon once all consultation responses have been considered.
Next steps
We are currently assessing all responses received and considering what changes need to be made.
We will then produce a final version of the Supplementary Planning Document which will be presented to Members at the Authority meeting in October 2010. We hope to be able to adopt the SPD in October, to coincide with the anticipated adoption of the Core Strategy.
