The garden at Brockhole is really special and deserves a chance to look as good as it did in its heyday. Thomas Mawson, one of the most celebrated landscape architects of the Edwardian era, designed the garden to go together with the house.
For details about planting and felling, please look at Brockhole's tree management programme page.
We are looking to set up a Friends of Brockhole Gardens and Playground Group to help fundraise around £200,000 to match fund available grants. To register your interest in joining please contact Lorraine Brierley at lorraine.brierley@lakedistrict.gov.uk
We are also interested in hearing from potential sponsors and donors.
