Bluebird Project Draft Byelaw Consultation

30 March 2010: Latest news

In 2008 the team rebuilding Bluebird K7 asked the Lake District National Park Authority to consider amending the Coniston Water byelaws, to allow the craft to undertake proving trials in excess of 10mph. The existing Byelaws wouldn’t allow this to happen.

We have now re-drafted the Coniston Water byelaws to allow the Bluebird trials to take place and a consultation on the draft byelaws took place between 1 February and 28 March 2010.

Once we have finalised the draft byelaws there will then be a formal consultation.
