Brockhole on Windermere is undergoing some significant developments, particularly in Brockhole House and our food and dining offer, and we are looking for a new, enthusiastic and ambitious team to join us to help create an exceptional customer experience at our stunning Lake District Visitor Centre.

The site includes the beautiful Gibson designed Brockhole House, a great Arts and Crafts house set in 30 acres of stunning Thomas Mawson designed, listed gardens, on the shores of Lake Windermere.  With the Lake District now a designated World Heritage Site, this is a great opportunity to make a significant contribution to the main visitor centre for the Lake District, currently visited by over 300,000 people per year.

We have an existing busy main family café, and two great little seasonal catering cabins in the grounds, plus new for 2018 is a fully refurbished Arts & Crafts restaurant, which will be offering high quality afternoon teas, light lunches and evening meals from May to September.

Working to our very experienced Catering Manager and new exciting Head Chef, these new roles present a great opportunity to learn and develop your skills and experience in the catering and hospitality industry, whilst earning good money in beautiful surroundings. The variety of posts will suit both those with lots of experience wishing to take the next step, and those just entering the industry, or maybe just looking for a fun and positive way to earn some extra income.
