Leasing White house
The Dan Gibson designed house at Brockhole is currently used as a visitor centre for the Lake District National Park Authority. It is a great place to eat, shop and play.
In 2011 we:
- Added a new counter to the cafe (opens in new window)
- Rearranged the shop and exhibition space (links open in new window)
- Added a new indoor soft play Play and Learn area for children (opens in new window)
Future opportunities
The house at Brockhole has great potential. It is situated on the main road between the tourist honeypots of Windermere and Ambleside, has lakeside access including a new jetty, ample parking and is set in an amazingly beautiful area with views of the hills. We are currently waiting for approval to go out to the market to search for suitable potential partners to lease out the whole house.
