A million plus worldwide web followers are being wowed in an international Lakes love-in.
From Bristol to Bangkok, Inverness to India, London to Lisbon visitors to acclaimed www.lakedistrict.gov.uk are being offered a unique chance to see the famed landscape for themselves.
Lake District National Park has teamed up with holiday cottage company Heart of the Lakes to offer a free holiday for four.
A package of accommodation, boating on Coniston, afternoon tea at Brockhole, the Lake District Visitor Centre on the shores of Windermere, and a whole lot more are up for grabs.
Brockhole development programme director, Adam Thomas, said it was the first time the Lake District's massive web and social media audience had been given the chance to win an exclusive 'come and see it' deal.
He explained: "This is the perfect opportunity to turn virtual experiences into the real thing. It also gives us the chance to see who is following us."
Already running on the national park's website, the competition finishes at the end of August.
Adam said although it was aimed at anyone and everyone, it would have special appeal to young families.
