Lake District National Park Partnership - Chairperson

The Lake District National Park Partnership is a group of organisations who have come together to secure the future of the Lake District National Park, now a World Heritage Site. We have an agreed shared Vision for National Park:

An inspirational example of sustainable development in action. A place where its prosperous economy, world class visitor experience and vibrant communities come together to sustain the spectacular landscape, its wildlife and cultural heritage. Local people, visitors, and the many organisations working in the Lake District or have a contribution to make to it, must be united in achieving this.

We’ve celebrated our 10th Anniversary and now need a wonderful new Chairperson preferably with knowledge and love of the Lake District to help us convert our words and passion into action.

Do you have the skills to guide our work and a desire to help us overcome the challenges and capitalise on the opportunities we face? Can you commit up to 24 days a year to something really special?
