The Chair to announce the fire safety instructions to all attendees.

4. Declarations of Interest

Members should declare any personal or prejudicial interests. These are described in the Code of Conduct adopted by the Authority on 16 July 2007 and in the Authority Handbook.

Standards for England advises that members should state the nature of any prejudicial interest (defined at paragraph 10 of the Code of Conduct) so it can be recorded in the minutes.

6. Site inspections

The Head of Development Management to advise Committee of forthcoming planning applications where Members may wish to conduct a site inspection prior to making their decision in accordance with the Development Control Committee Site Inspection Protocol:

Wednesday 12 January and Thursday 13 January 2011 have been set aside for site inspections.

Due to adverse weather conditions the following postponed December visits have been rescheduled for January:-

Proposed extension providing 40 guest bedrooms and 4 staff bedrooms, together with extension to existing dining room and refurbishment and recladding of existing bedroom blocks. Demolition of existing outbuildings containing staff rooms, office and storage.

Proposed extension and internal alterations to the existing Swan Hotel staff accommodation. The proposals comprise 7 no. additional staff bedrooms with private facilities and the provision of new, separate, staff lounge, kitchen and dining facilities together with internal refurbishment of the existing internal areas
