Equality Impact Assessments
One of the National Park’s purposes is:
To promote opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of the National Park by the public.
To help us ensure the opportunity for understanding and enjoyment is open to everyone, we are carrying out Equality Impact Assessments for our service areas.
This is a way of systematically assessing the effects of our services on different groups of people that visit the National Park. The assessments will also help us improve our services.
The actions from our equality impact assessments are contained in our Joint Equality Scheme. This explains our commitment to equality and diversity and lists the actions we will take over the next three years. This document also contains information about our organisation and the communities we work with. This document also ensures we are compliant with the Equality Act.
